Starting today, fans can nominate themselves or a person with the name Joy for a chance to receive a special package filled with yummy treats and surprises. Through July 2, consumers can submit their nominations through the official Joy Drops page, and one hundred winners will be selected to receive a Joy Drop filled with fan-favorite snacks and swag from Hostess.

Each Joy Drop will contain a variety of treats, including powdery Donettes mini donuts, crème-filled Twinkies snack cakes, reusable water balloons, and other toys and games. And the best part? Hostess is taking nominations to the next level by partnering with DroneUp, a leading autonomous drone delivery company, to deliver these treats to select cities in Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Texas, Utah, and Virginia.

According to a new survey conducted by Hostess and Talker Research… parents believe their families are in the greatest need of joyful moments during the summer break. In fact, 34% of parents said their families are most in need of joy during the summer, followed by winter months (18%) and the holiday break (15%). The survey also found that 91% of parents believe finding everyday moments of joy can have a positive impact on both parents’ and kids’ wellbeing. “We’re thrilled to collaborate with Hostess, bringing our innovative drone technology to their delicious snacks,” said Greg James, vice president of business development at DroneUp.

“Together, we’ll deliver joy… ensuring guaranteed smiles – faster than ever before.” The survey also revealed that 89% of parents have tried to make the typical day at home feel more fun. With the Joy Drops, Hostess is making it easy for families to create those joyful moments, and with DroneUp’s assistance, “the treats will be delivered right to their doorstep.” For more information on the Joy Drops campaign, “fans can visit the official Hostess website or read about it on Yahoo Finance.” Don’t miss out on the chance to spread some joy – nominate ___ or a friend with the name Joy today and get ready to experience the joy of Hostess!
