Keke Palmer is a multifaceted American actress, producer, and television personality. Born on August 26, 1993, in Harvey, Illinois, Palmer began her acting career at a young age, making her screen debut in the 2002 film “Barbershop 2: Back in Business.” Her breakthrough role came in 2006 with the critically acclaimed film “Akeelah and the Bee,” for which she received a NAACP Image Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award. Throughout her career, Palmer has demonstrated her versatility as an actress, taking on a wide range of roles in film, television, and theater.
Some of her notable film credits include “The Longshots” (2008), “Shrink” (2009), and “Joyful Noise” (2012).
